a period is also known as the menstrual cycle and even though u should really ask your mom im gonna tell u kninda once a month its a girl's excuse for being bitchy lasts about 5- 7 days and is how the ummm lower regions naturally clean themselves out hence the use of tampons and pads and midol this monthly thing is accompanied by cramps bloating fatigue acne and bitchy-ness
